To test :
Connect 12v battery positive and negative cable to the two lower right pins (brown and blue) connector. This will spin the motor
You can switch around the blue and brown and this will then spin in the reverse direction.

Its the blue and the brown cables ! bottom on right as you said, but the colours are blue and brown not red.
its basically just a test and not the repair. Nevertheless good video. I got one that is not working for some reason. Trying to see if I can take it apart and see what's inside.
