Glad you refurbished the arms before assembly! This should make s marked difference in handling performance!
The spitfire was a MK IX C with cannons and the Merlin 65. Putting out 30 lbs I’d boost!
The best of all the mms was the mk Vb with that engine and less weight it would climb like a home sick angel!!

You need an air chisel, make fast work of those spot welds, and so useful for removing pressed in suspension bushes too

My 308 suspension would constantly sag and get clapped out. What can I say, I liked to put it through some rigorous driving, I played hard. Easy fix though, just simply bend the wheels back. Hang on… that was a Matchbox version.
