GNPONYKILER- Your not correct. Barrett Jackson does allow reserves on all
of their cars that roll through the auction block. They do offer reduced
auction fees if you don’t set a reserve. Not sure why RR didn’t have a
reserve.
almost all auctioneers sound like that ..if your around that world enough
you can easily understand what there saying..all that matters is the
numbers and key words ..auctions
and trade ins are not where your go to get the high dollar.. selling things
outright most of the time you will do better… just takes longer .. the
car was repaired , not all original and was painted black ..they should
have stuck with the factory color for resale reasons..
Not sure if Dennis really bought Richard out because Dennis wasn’t there.
If he did Richard made out cuz Dennis lost his ass. They usually go from
$800k-$1.0 million. Even though it was wrecked it was restored by Ferrari
certified mechanics and had to pass multiple rigorous standards and specs.
It probably did hurt the cars value though. The F 40 looks so much better
in black.
