Whenever I used the CRUISE CONTROL- THIS WOULD HAPPEN, So I Quit using it and yes pull the FUSE – IT HAS NOT HAPPENED ANYMORE. So Scotty is Correct Some COMPUTER’s do Start to malfunction . Also my vehicle is 21 yrs old – Honda Accord- FYI

30kendel says:

Scotty those dodge vehicles are known for faulty TIPM's(fuse box), it has internal soldered relays, including the fuel pump relay that go bad!
Symptoms of stalling and no power when cranking the engine!

lance gross says:

I had a Dodge pickup truck it did the same damn thing drove me nuts

Jimmy Sapien says:

You can always call the dealership and see if there’s any recalls on your vehicle with your Vin number

Ronald Prince says:

you know what the problem is. its a dodge

My father brought a brand new Durango back in 2001, drove the hell out of it, past it on to me, I drove the hell out of it, and then sold it when it hit 295000 miles. Honestly the best vehicle we've ever owned. All new cars have electrical issues no matter the manufacturer

Charles Gates says:

Damn old dishwasher general electric

Edward Martinez says:

The only problem with Dodge is there owned by fiat junk.

Brian Holder says:

Did it solve problem though. A clogging /unclogging fuel filter will cause same thing along with screen strainer on fuel pump in tank and lose or oil dirt fouled camshaft or crank sensors and battery ground corrosion on main battery and all the chassis ground points…Not to forget intake boot cracks or leaks..

deadspider23 says:

Hey Scotty what's the name of that scanner you have? And is it pricey?

Brad Waite says:

I had a Jeep with a similar problem, I finally figured out it was the crank sensor.

JECC WRS says:

I love my DD! So many of you don’t. Oh well!

Odai Benjamin says:

Hello Scotty,
Am from Ghana -West Africa. I watch your videos alot and are quite informative.
I have a problem with my vw passat b5. It bleeds oil into the coolant real fast.
Changed the oil cooler gasket, and pressure tested the oil cooler it self ( no bubbles when I blow pressurised air into the coolant pipe while submerged in water) yet it takes about 5 mins of engine run to do the mixture ( yes that quick).
I suspect the head gasket. Any other ideas? Please help!

Viktor Angelov says:

Remember the CLS 500 which you made video, this dodge is having more trouble codes even it's newer then the merc 😀 … and the merc will never leave you on the road no matter the codes you have on it

smartchip says:

I got a dodge ram 1500 3.6 litre 1997, any comments?

Meow Mix says:

Happened on a 97 corolla I had ended up being the ignition coil. The car would randomly die while driving but would start right back up after. Was possibly in combo with a plugged fuel coal canister building pressure in the tank.

nonya biz says:

I was told a long time ago to stay away from the Durango… I guess theres still 121 idiots driving Durangos that didnt take that advice.

AtLeast IwasBorn says:

Hey Scotty i have to chose between 2018 Honda Civic automatic or 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback 6 speed manual . I know in the past that Honda had some problems with theirs automatic transmission so im not sure if new civics automatic transmission is any good . Which one you think is better ? Thanks

supramaniac502 says:

Am I the only one that has a hard time getting to the actual info he's giving through the dark glasses and totally annoying non descript accent? This dudes voice just grates on me like the lead singer from The Offspring….can't even describe it why I find it so disagreeable….maybe its the way he seems to talk so forcefully and harshly, even nearly frantically, til he almost seems to be out of breath….not saying the info isn't sound. As a mechanic and gearhead of nearly 10 combined years of experience who has worked at a NUMBER of dealer service centers as well as countless independent shops, he DOES have sound advice and facts….just can't stomach actually LISTENING to him for very long…

franky5p0 says:

Had a newer jeep, it would randomly die out on warm days. you could turn it back on right away. Over time it went from once a month dying at a stop sign to dying a few times a week at stop signs or highway speed.
Never gave a code or fault on any scanner i used. Once i tested and checked the usual suspects with no results i just had a hunch the pcm was going out.
went out a got a new one to throw on it and sure enough it was good to go.
the price wasn’t bad but these types of problems can potentially ruin your wallet and mood.

Hey Scotty, my family recently bought a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, 8 speed automatic transmission, 2.0 TSI turbocharged Inline 4 and it's a AWD. I was curious what problems we might face later on with our vehicle? PS, our old car was a 2001 Chrysler Neon with 325,000 Km on it! Thank you.

Waylon DeSilva says:

Cool. I liked your answer and knowledge of the problem your customer had. Very good Scotty
