Does anyone know where the dash kit he used came from? I have a 00 Ram Sport that needs a dash. ive seen the LMC kits that require pretty much the entire dash to be removed in order to install the new dashboard. This one would be amazing except for the fact that there may not be enough of my old dashboard left to glue to. LOL
When my old S10 had that issue, I just covered it up with a nice dash mat… "Gapping hole? What Gapping hole?" XD This certainly would have been nice to have too.
dodge needs to give every ram owner with that problem one of those mine looks same way had a piece crack off on mine and hit me in the eye on the highway!!!!!!

Dodge is the only vehicle maker on the planet that hasn't figured out how to make dashes that don't crack. They've always done it too. I remember in the 70's them doing it, and 40 years later they still do it.
I discovered a few days that dashboard in my 2002 Ram 2500 cracked in two places. I told my friends when I bought the truck a few years that I bought it because of the 5.9 Cummins motor. The rest of the truck is a major POS. I guess one bankruptcy is not enough. Make good products or GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE BUSINESS.

How bad does it rattle with that dash cap on?
That's about all you can do without replacing the whole dash.
I just had this happen on a Chrysler town and country minivan. Does anybody know if they make these for them?

Dodge should reimburse their customers for the cover. They've been producing these faulty dashboards for decades now. Total BS!

What about rattles.maybe a thin dab or 2 of silicon so it can be removed later?
I wouldn't advise gluing it in I didn't see any access to those five bolts on top that you need to remove to rip the dash out to install a heater core
