I recently bought a new horse trailer with LED lighting and I tried plugging in my horse trailer plug into my 99 dodge Cummins trailer plug and now the LED lights on my horse trailer don’t work at all. What could this be? Should I put a new trailer harness on my truck since it’s the original plug?

B Lind says:

What would you recommend if the connector is STUCK in the old receptacle? Ive tried lectro-glide and a couple other various lubricants to no avail

I bought a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 that only has a factory installed 4 plug trailer connector (brown, black, yellow, and green wires) and I need to install a 6 pin round trailer connector.  I bought a Hopkins 7 blade and 4 flat wiring harness to use for various trailers.  Do I need to add more wires in order to do this?  I can't find any videos on this.

Todd J Piascik says:

From where might I procure a cutout delete cover to plug the hole in my bumper without installing another receptacle?
