Is that hose called the upper radiator hose or lower radiator hose????
You guys are giving people BAD BAD BAD information. People do "NOT" have to waste money replacing the plastic housing unless it's obviously broken. Also draining the rad and taking off all that undercarriage is "NOT" necessary because you don't have to drain the rad . This is what the dealers mechanics do in order to charge you 500 dollars apposed to maybe $80. .
All you have to do is let the car cool off, remove the hose ( Have a bucket under neat to catch the bit of antifreeze that will come out… Then you simple replace the thermostat, put the hose back on, refill the fluid and your done… It's as simple as that, these guys are wasting your time and or money by following their instructions.
