How to replace the brake booster and master cylinder on a Dodge Dakota – VOTD

Brake booster & master cylinder replacement: 1 to 2 hours ($150 / $400 / $500)

In this video I helped a guy replace the brake booster and master cylinder on his 1998 Dodge Dakota pick up truck. I’m sure this process is the same on many other vehicles.

Big dog that's one of the best how to videos I've seen. Short simple step by step with no filler tone of nonsense . Thank you keep up the good work

Heyy robert! Would this video install apply to a 2001 dodge durango slt with the 4.7 liter v8? My booster seems to be smoking pretty bad and I have little to no brakes. Parking brake and abs light are both on as well.

Harry Rivera says:

if you have abs there is a scan tool to get the bubbles out. read the instructions.

Harry Rivera says:

your suppose to fill it and prime it before you install it, there is a installation note that explains this in the box.
