All the videos for replacing the battery on a dodge journey include jacking up the vehicle and removing the wheel. I realize this looks better for the video but I had plenty of room to work by turning the wheel all of the way to the left. Really only like a 5 min job with the right tools.
I just finished this job. I live in western Canada and was lucky to have a rare warm day for this time of year (around 30 degrees)….i dont think i could have pull it off in the cold.
There is a special place in HELL for Dodge design engineers !! Who in the hell thought it was a good idea to put a battery behind a panel which requires the front wheel to come off to change the battery?? Suck it you POS. Obviously the dont want non pro techs changing batteries and doing the simplist jobs.
