I replaced my the crankshaft sensor on my 98 dodge ram 1500 5.9l and still saying intermittent loss of crankshaft sensor. Itll start and run but its having a loud noise where the cranskshaft sensor at everytime i speed up and its missfiring. But its in only saying its the crankshaft sensor. Help please?

I replaced the crank sensor on my 2000 dodge ram 2500 4×4 5.9L gas. Plus replaced the pickup coil (cam shaft sensor) along with distributor cap and rotar Everthing is fine except I now have a faint ticking or arcing noise. Please help!!

What a pain in the fucking ass. I love mopar and dodge but geezus. I don't know what going on. I have to replace my distributer cap every year. Not sure what keeps causing it to fail. Just put a brand new one on and still not getting fire. I'm thinking this sensor may be the solution
