How do I pull out the bottom? Does it snaps off?
Hy. This is my brother id, but. I am from Europe. I have a 1997 Chrysler
Stratus LE 2.0 131bhp. In 3 weacs i changed 3 heat resistors. Fan speds
1,2,3. Dont work. Want thoo do. I can not afort to buy each weeak a new
heat resistor.. OMG there are so weak. Sory my bad english and if you can
please help me. Thanx

You may want to have the Freon level checked in the system to see if it

My 2001 A/C is blowing cold for about 5 minutes then blows hot air,
too.Just paid someone $85 to fix the resistor. Shoot, looks like I could
have done that myself. What is a blend door? I want to sell the car but a
mechanic said it would cost $600 to fix/replace here. Some don’t want to
take a chance on it. Guess I am stuck with it thought it is a reliable car.

When you turn heater on it will help to cool the motor down, this is fine.
In fact if your car’s ever starting to overheat, an old school trick is to
turn the heat on to help bring the temperature back down. We do not carry
door panels for this vehicle, you may want to see if your local salvage
yard has a decent one in a wrecked vehicle for you. That would be the

Ok so i have an 02 stratus and my air-conditioner is acting up. It will
work sometimes for a couple minutes and then it just starts blowing outside
air and stops blowing cold air. I know it isn’t low on Freon/refrigerant.
Any ideas?
If you have a Chiltons or a Haynes manual if should show you a wire diagram
for the blower motor. If you have a test light, test the end of the plug to
see if there’s power to the resistor and the blower motor. If there’s no
power to them check the fuse to see if it’s okay.
In my 2004 Stratus the blower setting on 1-2-3 would NOT work but setting 4
would on my A/C. I asked a local auto part store and told me what it could
be/then I asked a mechanic who told me the same. This video helped
tremendously. Although it did not mention the pull out or down the red clip
prior to pushing the retaining tab thingy; the clip is on the tab, you just
can not see it from your angle, just like the video. Thank you video
uploader guy.
My dodge stratus is doing a similar thing. It only works on high speed.
Where is theSpeed Resistor located in the car?
Dodge stratus 02. the meter of the car temp. Drops down every time I turn
on my heater or coolant. What’s wrong with it. I also need the door panel
cover broke when this auto people tried to fix the power switches of the
window. Now the switches are hanging down. Where can I buy the door cover
panel.

Just follow the video and you will be able to figure out where it is
located on your vehicle.
This blankety-blank 2001 has one of those red safety clips, and i cannot
figure out how to get the wire box out of the socket. The red clip lifts
part way…..should it come all the way. If only part way, what do i push
or pull to get the wire harness all the way out of the old resister
socket?!?!?
Thanks for this, it was a huge help! This was the second time my resistor
wore out on my 2001 Stratus, first time I took it to a dealer who charged
me over $200 to fix it. One thing I wanted to point out, when I did my
repair the new resistor (bought from 1aauto.com) wouldn’t fit in the
compartment, it was too wide, I looked around elsewhere online and found
other people had the same issue. I used my dremel to grind away at the
plastic in order to make it fit and then everything was fine.
