This video is not my normal Food related video. I love to tinker with things and fix stuff. Also, I couldn’t find a video on YouTube that showed replacing the Lumbar Support in a 2004 Dodge Ram. I am sharing on my Caney Branch Farm channel as well. Thanks for the support.
This is for the Drivers side seat. It is the Manual lumbar support. I found the best deal on eBay for the replacement part. The part number is 05166079AA. The part cost me $52.98 with free shipping. The dodge Place wanted around 63.00 but did not have the part in stock. Also, they first tried to sell me the whole back seat which was around $400.00. This part is listed for a 05-08 Dodge Ram. I found a few forums talking about using it for the 2004 Dodge Ram which is my year model. It should also fit the 03.
This part was not 100% the same as you can see in the video the slight slack that was in the support until you wind the handle up a few turns. It does work though and it has the support once you turn the handle all the way up. I hope this will help a few people out.
