DODGE VIPER GTS DIY Ball Joint & Wheel Bearing Replacement

DODGE VIPER GTS DIY Ball Joint & Wheel Bearing Replacement

Omar’s 96 Dodge Viper GTS needed some new front wheel bearings, and upper ball joints. So he brought it by the normal guy garage, and we swapped in some new ones. I wish I could say it went smoothly, but it clearly didn’t UNTIL we got the proper press to get the ball joint out of the control arm. The drivers side took us almost 5 hours, but after learning lessons and getting the proper tools, we did the passenger side in about an hour.

At 47 a Viper is still one of my dream cars. Unfortunately living in the UK I’m unlikely to own one. Great content mate

You probably said that already, but what's the brand of the wheels on your 458? Really like the way they look.

For the really stuff fasteners that really need high torque , use a torque multiplier is a lot safer . Next tool you should buy . Maybe Christmas . Hint Meg .

Ferrari is a graceful sports car and is so comfortable to drive… you slide gracefully into the interior driver's side. Because it is well distributed power ready at your disposable well you just glide along and let the Ferrari fly. Ferrari has graceful engine. Dodge Viper is a muscle car powered by a powerful truck engine… you get the feeling of having to jump into the interior driver's side. Because the Viper uses a push-rod type of engine you kind of get the sense of having to harness energy in order to race. You need to feel the Viper's engine in order to amount energy and amass energy… being on the constant look out, so to speak.
