NO IT IS NOT COOL UNCOOL JUST SCARY thoughts may be thinking un sudcided just kidding have a great day
you could use a ratchet strap to hold the drive shaft up in place too, and you needs to have a heated shop or a garage, keeps your tools the weather and would be very nice to work in a building.
I recall, in Turkey 1957, I got a ride with a 4wd usaf ambulance; about half way there, the front of the driveshaft broke off. I'm an old farm kid and if we' had some bailing wire, I could have wired it up and then go by fwd but nothing handy,,,
I mean if people can't work an actual job during the week, then they should be ashamed of themselves for relying only on YouTube for income. I don't give a damn how good their content is, no excuses. Aren't there patreons and such out there??
Good stuff.. yeah.. gotta remember to install the U joint so you can grease it.. oops.. .. I hate vibrations .. had many issues with my 03 Town car.. you can't put anything but Ford U joints in them.. the cups won't fit tight.. my drive shaft needed a U joint, plus straightening and balance.. and transmission extension housing bushing was dickered.. and car hasn't seen a winter till this yr.. and only has 161,000 km's seems weird the bushing was bad.. I've never had to replace one till now..
LMAO "I lost my nuts" i hate it when that happens! Kershaw is a good brand of knife. You keep having all these "other stories" you mentioned how about making those into some shorter videos and actually sharing that content as well, a video is a video man
youtube is screwing everybody, I know of several channels that has quite because of it, and several others calling for a site wide strike, hit youtube and google in the wallet and I bet they will change their tune.
Wow the Dana 70-80 are way different mounting then the newer 3 rd gen dodges u-joints mount to coupler and then bolt to the rear end instead. Another successful repair.
very nice job.

I haven't messed with a driveshaft in years, think it was at the end of the 1900's, LOL.

Another job well done!
you dropped your nuts!
Great vid Shawn. Never knew it was that simple to remove/install a drive shaft… aside from the weight it's simple. Cheers
good to see you on again, nice dry ground, no april floods this year
