Dodge sells a factory hard gasket for their transmissions. They are reusable and no sealants needed. Just a few bucks more.
Will this help with when I drive on hot days and leave car running eating lunch and then leave the car won’t want to shift Have to force it too kinda but doesn’t say it’s overheating or anything not going into od
ItCould be helpful guys
I think it's only the Dakota's with 4WD that have that extra filter.
Pan bolts torgue is 156 in lb or 13 ft lb according to haynes repair manual. Good video.

Is it the same transmission on the RT 5.9?
I have a 2001 dodge Dakota and it says trans temp and kicks out of overdrive do you know why it might be doing that and trans isn’t overheating tho???
Would’ve like to seen how you put that seal in
I don't know why auto manufacturers don't put a drain plug in transmission pans. It's ALWAYS a mess!
I know it comes down to saving every possible penny to the manufacturer. But still, why do trans pans not have a drain plug? I guess that would make too much sense.
i have the same truck same transmission but i need to replace it whats the part number or whats the transmission number to replace it
Im having shifting issues without engine codes
Do you guys know what type of oil is it recommended?
Does video apply ti durango's as well ?
What would cause the transmission heat light to come on?
Don’t give up your main job! You have a lot to learn. No insult intended, really.
LEARN!!! SIPHONE AS MUCH ATF OUT OF THE DIPSTICK PIPE FROM THE TOP!!! GUESS WHAT? NO MESS!!!
Question I have a 05 with a 4.7 engine with 61k my transmission temp light came on for about 20 seconds then went off would could cause that? Plz
Just drain the fluid first
Hey i take string and tie the gasket through the bolt holes to help keep the gasket aligned
I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4×2 3.9. Have you ever done a transmission removal to replace just the seals?
