Thanks for the video that seems painless did you jack it up?
nah sorry its a 95 ram 2500 conversion van….i let the video upload and
walked away and didnt get to edit the details yet
lol true. nothing a brush and degreaser cant handle though 😀
im sorry i dont remember
Im so white the daylight reflects off my hands and makes them look clean
ha, but gloves wouldnt have helped my arms!
got any video on how do upper and low ball joints on 2003 cogo van 2500 v 8
5.2 ?
yea i should have
Yeah, but your arms are easier to clean than oil filled fingernail
crevices. Take care GK.
What Torque settings did you use for the final tightening?
Might not hurt to slap some grease on the ball joint side before assembly.
yea same principle
Astro van?
I have to do this on my ’99 Ram van 3500, so thanks very much for posting
this video! It was really easy to see everything you were doing. The shop
that did some work on it for me said the van had two idler arms so I hope
the second one is as easy to replace.
nope sorry….i might over summer though
Your hands look surgically clean, so perhaps you would consider using
nitrile gloves to keep the lady from saying eww! lol
would this be the same for a pitman arm
Yea there are two idler arms, they look the same and are both easy to
replace. thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. It is nice to see how this is done before starting
the job. I just replaced the driver side on my 1999 Roadtrek 3500. I
hammered the knuckle out of the steering link because I did not have a
pickle fork. I learned a trick that I use on ball joints and tie-rod end to
make the separation easier, hit it with a hammer on the side a few times
before hitting on the stud.
ypure welcome thanks for watching
