5.2 ?

a DIY Car Guy says:

yea i should have

Anthony Wayne says:

Yeah, but your arms are easier to clean than oil filled fingernail
crevices. Take care GK.

RodPlunger says:

What Torque settings did you use for the final tightening?

Sean Hoover says:

Might not hurt to slap some grease on the ball joint side before assembly.

a DIY Car Guy says:

JUDGERAMBO says:

Astro van?

tcphelps01 says:

I have to do this on my ’99 Ram van 3500, so thanks very much for posting
this video! It was really easy to see everything you were doing. The shop
that did some work on it for me said the van had two idler arms so I hope
the second one is as easy to replace.

a DIY Car Guy says:

nope sorry….i might over summer though

Anthony Wayne says:

Your hands look surgically clean, so perhaps you would consider using
nitrile gloves to keep the lady from saying eww! lol

Nick Cross says:

would this be the same for a pitman arm

a DIY Car Guy says:

Yea there are two idler arms, they look the same and are both easy to
replace. thanks for watching!

Youne says:

Thanks for the video. It is nice to see how this is done before starting
the job. I just replaced the driver side on my 1999 Roadtrek 3500. I
hammered the knuckle out of the steering link because I did not have a
pickle fork. I learned a trick that I use on ball joints and tie-rod end to
make the separation easier, hit it with a hammer on the side a few times
before hitting on the stud.

a DIY Car Guy says:

ypure welcome thanks for watching
