Is the hub and rotor two pieces on a W200 with an 8 bolt hub? I tried to
drive them through with the hammer but it didn´t work and I am not sure if
the rotor and hub actually seperates.

Dana axles were used on chrysler ford and chevy models with the differences
being differential location, suspension mounting points, steering, and
brake hardware. you’ll need to check all of these conditions to see if the
HD 8 lug from a ford will fit. also you’ll want to confirm the gear ratios
are the same.

Hello, I was just wondering if by any chance you would know where to get
the value master bearing rebuild kit for 1978 Dodge Ramcharger front
differential.( Dana 46/13) . I live in Saudi Arabia and I have been having
a hard time finding them in here. it would be a great help if you know a
store that sells them and can ship to Saudi Arabia. You can reach me at
Fathi4002@hotmail.com Best regards, Fathi.

carwash559, thanks for the view and the compliment. the stock hub and rotor
rotor replacement is pretty much as the video showed. if you’re going to do
a part time kit i recommend the milemarker or a similar kit. to be true 2WD
you’ll also have to modify the transfer case and there are other videos on
YT of how to do this. IMO a 2WD is not worth the cost unless you’re gonna
put on many miles.

I appreciate your video. I have a 1978 Plymouth Trailduster with full time
4×4 and a dana 44. I need to replace my front hub assembly and rotors. Is
there a way to make it part time 4 wheel such as just swapping the hubs? Or
do you really have to purchase that expensive milemarker kit? Also can I
swap a ford dana 44 HD 8 lug in its place with minor changes? Thanks for
the great video.

Well it’s been about 30 years ago but I replaced the POS hub and wheel
bearing setup on a 75 power wagon with a 78 chevy. You get locking hubs but
the front driveshaft will still turn…..You must get the front end
alignment for a 78 chevy….The garage will look at you funny but if you
don’t it won’t be properly aligned. Replace everything from the axle
housing out…..brake calipers and all….
