I follow oem repair procedures to the best of my abilities but in the back of my mind I do think it is amusing that auto makers press the seriousness of Auto Body techs understanding corrosion protection when I have seen first hand cutting a 1-5 year old car apart and finding rust betweeen the panels and spot welds. I think most of the time after spraying cavity wax our repairs will outlast the factory ecoat.
