2011 Town and Country Van
Replacing the oil filter housing assembly because it was leaking oil.

Also the lower and upper intake manifold rubber gaskets were replaced with new gaskets.

Drained and filled engine oil and coolant. My friend gave only 5 quarts of oil and it needed 1 more quart. So he add a quart the next day.

Alan Creek says:

Yeah definitely should be a recall on the design. Less then 20k miles on a 17 200c and it’s leaking glad I found your video showed me I do not want to tackle the task. Gonna get rid of the car.

Lennox says:

This car seems difficult to repair…..you are the best in Las Vegas .

Corey Robinson says:

These oil filter housing always leak on the Carvans and the 300 chargers. Those design on Dodge is junk. Dodge should be ashamed of them self's.

Keith Roberts says:

How do you remember where all the bolts and plugs go when you get one like this where there is a lot of them? I just had to have one of these replaced on my Dodge Ram !

My Photo Gal Wedding Photography says:

Hi 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, 130,000, video was wonderful changed oil cooler, all seals, spark plugs, radiator flush and oil changed, followed video exactly, put everything back test drove van now heater not working and brakes spongy and brake light staying on? Any help would be appreciated all sensors put back no extra screws wondering what could be causing this?

Yeshurun Yeshrael says:

What's the torque spec for that part please

A B1 says:

i realize that all of this took place almost 3 years ago. just curious how using prestone gm dex-cool OAT, instead of something like a valvoline zerex g-05 HOAT, worked out for that Chrysler?
not trying to be a smart aleck. i am truly curious

Gina Iurato says:

How much would you charge to do this exact fix

Earl Martinez says:

Great Video. Experiencing this problem on my 14 durango.

Michael Cook says:

Wow! So great… our town and country is still barely under warranty, but this particular repair isn’t covered, so they quoted me $800+ with parts and labor. By the time I’m done thanks to this helpful video I’ll have only spent $270 with parts and everything… thank you!

cloakedwarbird says:

If you have this engine in a 2013 or older check your oil pressure bypass valve. There are YouTube videos on this. The cheap plastic bypass valve breaks which means you are running unfiltered oil. If you follow the recommended change intervals, oil will be filthy. Try to remove filter housing carefully to avoid catching the spring loaded valve on the way out. If you are considering buying one of these vans used…Don't pay much.

Horizon Garage says:

If I could one hand fix everything like him):

Mike Moonwalker says:

Going to be doing this job pretty soon was wondering what do I need to ask for as far as a gaskets?

Kushologist Gaming says:

Do you have to drain the coolant?

zack hardaway says:

So when i went to bleed the coolant with the screw and retightening the screw it snapped and coolant spilling out, what piece is that called

jmcontreras77 says:

Hey Angel. I replaced the oil housing but is still leaking. Any suggestions?

R4-Mississippi Thunder says:

Very informative and awesome camera angles. I’m sure I’ll be referring back to this as I change mine.

brandon heater says:

This may be a dumb question but I see you do alot of work on dodge vehicles but not so much dodge ram 1500…I've watch a ton of video on changing the oil cooling filter with oil pressure piece but is there any difference I need to know to complete the process on my 2014 ram 1500? And even though i out the year make and model they sent me a 2011-2013 part. It looks like that's not a problem and old and new are compatible but just want to double check with you. Thanks for all the helpful videos.
