Thank you for sharing this! I recently had this service done at Chrysler dealership. The total cost came to $365.95 + tax. They charged me $65 for parts and one and half hour of labor at $199/hr. Do you think this was fair?

Roman Montiel Rojas says:

Jerall/Plastikpaintz Perry says:

Hey to change a thermostat on 2011 Chevy Malibu how do you bleed it after changing the thermostat

Rafael Hurtado says:

Awesome video sir. Quick ? whats the the average time i can go without changing the part without damaging my car may check engine turned on yesterday and the code read p0128

Jerall/Plastikpaintz Perry says:

Hey quick question is there 2 gaskets that goes on, when I took the old thermostat housing off it was a O ring on the Block where the thermostat housing bolts in at and the gasket that actually goes onto the thermostat or is it just that 1 gasket that goes onto the thermostat bc I basically did everything you did in the video and my car started back overheating. Also I didn’t bleed it either maybe that’s why it ran hot possibly

Joshua Rodriguez says:

I have a ? Do you have to replace the rubber ring that goes around the thermostat and do you have to flush it before you take the thermostat off and disconnect the battery? Thank you btw!

Joka Robinson says:

Great video I have one question. My check engine light came on I went to auto zone that's how I found out I needed the thermostat so I changed it out like your video showed step by step but light is still on

Justin Bobier says:
