Check Out My New Video!
Showing you how to remove and replace rear brake pads and rotors on a 2010 Chrysler Sebring.
Here’s a list of tools needed to do the job.
-Impact Gun or Breaker Bar
-19 mm Socket – For the lug nuts
-14 mm socket for bottom guide pin
Or
-14 mm opened end wrench for both bottom but especially the top guide pin
-A Hammer – Especially to help remove rear rotor or any stubborn frozen on part
-Flat Head Screwdriver
-Brake Caliper Compressor
-Parts Brake Clean
-Brake Grease/Lubricant – Especially for the guide pins and brake pad contacting surfaces
-Rags/ Paper Towels – To clean off the rotor surfaces
I forgot to mention and show on the video that when you remove the dust boot from the rotor you will need to find the adjustment screw through the peep hole and loosen in with a flat head screwdriver in order to remove rotor.
Once installing the rotor make sure to adjust again with the flat head screwdriver just enough for the rotor to be able to rotate by hand. If you tighten it too much you wont be able to rotate the rotor by hand.
