The switch may be going bad. You may also want to check for a wire that could be coming into contact with a piece of metal, or something that might be causing this issue. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

MrCanadacronsmoke says:

our 02 caravan signal lights just started acting up, when turning the right signal on the left goes on instead lol, if u really push up hard on the lever the right will eventually come on , this sound like a switch issue hey ? ,

Chris H says:

My Mom has a 2007 Grand Caravan. The turn signals just stopped working. The bulbs are good, the hazard lights DO work – this is how I know the bulbs are good. Is it the turn signal switch in the steering column or a relay somewhere?

1aauto says:

If the turn signal is not canceling out after turning the wheel, the issue will definitely be with the turn signal lever.

Kari S says:

I have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. The left blinker will not turn off but it clicks like it did. Now my right blinker is doing it. The dealership says I’m a horrible woman driver but I doubt that. Could this switch be my problem? I have a friend that works for Dodge parts and he says it is.

1aauto says:

It may be an issue with the signal stalk. We carry new turn signal switches for your 2006 Grand Caravan on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

ProudCanMan1 says:

Thanks for the video. My 2006 Grand Caravan signals stop working intermittently. When I flash the high beams the signals will work again for a few days. Sounds like the signal stalk to me. Would you agree?

Sharon King says:

ok thanks

1aauto says:

Sounds as if you have an electrical issue. You might want to bring the vehicle in to a mechanic and have them thoroughly diagnose the issue.

Sharon King says:

My turn signals don’t work now, in the past, down on the wall by the brake I could push on something there and it would start working, would work for 3 or 4 months then I’d have to repeat it. I haven’t been able to do it this time to get them to work. It’s a 96 Dodge Grand Caravan. The flashers work fine.

1aauto says:

This will only work for the years listed. The steps might be similar but the part and the hardware that will hold everything together will be different.

Daniel Booter says:

does this work for a 1998 dodge caravan?

1aauto says:

There is a U-joint down on the shaft that you need to slide apart to be able to remove the box from the vehicle.

bigfish454m says:

I have a 1989 dodge van that i have to replace the steering geer box, how do i disconect the steering linkage from the gear box??

1aauto says:

The issue could be from the steering wheel itself. If the steering wheel no longer has the tab that tells the turn signal switch where it is positioned, it will not return to the proper position.

vacilandoful says:

I replaced turn signal cuz light dont turn off after I make a turn but the problem still there :/

1aauto says:

It may be a bad switch.

grnfsh says:

1a, My 2012 T&C wipers do not work on delay. They work if I roll all the way to a set speed but not for the intermittent. Do you believe the mulit function switch could be the culprit?

sirreginaldthe4th says:

Here’s a possibility if you have a signal light not working and the bulb is good, if you’re getting no voltage to the bulb, check underneath drivers side. This is for my 99′ your van might be a bit different. I have two screws that take off the cover for the fuse box. There are some relays in there. There is quite a large relay compared to the rest. See if that is loose. Mine was, and pressing it in made my signal light work again. I’m not even sure what the relay is, good luck.

1aauto says:

It could be a bad bulb.

dirtysanchez165 says:

my right signal light doesn’t blink what could it be

i loved the line, “oh, theres a feather in there”.

You’re welcome. Have a great day!

evov monbly says:

thank you so much for posting these videos, they have saved me money

1aauto says:

We don’t have a second video. Replacing that switch, should have taken care of a worn switch that doesn’t cancel too.

Tim Patterson says:

I replaced switch as the video showed and it went as easily as in the video, but signal still doesn’t cancel and clicking noise remains. Any further I can look at?

1aauto says:

If they can referb it for you and provide some type of warranty it may save you quite a bit of money.

MrsD7777 says:

Hi, I was told that I need to replace a bad BCM on my 1999 Dodge Caravan that i recently bought (cheap) The dash/gauges come on once in a while, but the turn signals do not work at all. Last owner says that Dodge claims it “has” to be a new one for $600-800 bucks, but i see refurbs for much cheaper, and the BCM parts place said to send in my old one, and they could refurb it. Any advice from U the expert would be greatly appreciated. Thank U.

1aauto says:

It could be the switch that’s going bad if it is a bad wiper switch we carry new ones on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 Part Number: 1AZCC00027

gamerlegacy says:

My fiance has a 97 Dodge Grand Caravan and the wipers only work when switched on and off (they cycle once when switched on and once when switched off) and occasionally they work on high for a brief period. is it most likely in need of a new switch or do you think there is a different problem?

1aauto says:

From what I can see, that piece isn’t serviceable by itself.
