905speedgta says:

willy68057 says:

Did you find out what the problem was I have the same thing

willy68057 says:

I have the same problem anyway to find out what it is?

viluong sam says:

All the lights on my 96 Grand Voyager were blinking too. I was lucky to find one control unit from the junkyard for $25 and replaced it. No more blinking for now.

James M Skipper says:

I ‘liked’ this several weeks ago, not thinking that I would need it. However, after adding freon on a ’98 T&C (That someone else had borrowed for a year.), I could feel cool air, but very little air flow. there were NO blinking lights, but I decided to try this procedure anyway. As it cycled through the steps, I got some great air flow! Now it seems to cool well!

tmbucktue says:

All my lights are blinking but its because i pulled the wrong breaker thinking it was the door lock breaker. But after driving awhile they go to normal until i shut the van off then next time i use they start blinking.

905speedgta says:

Joey, that could be a unit malfunction. I personally have never experienced that before. if every single light is blinking that could be your climate control needing replacement. im not 100% sure

Kubano Joey says:

question: how about when all lights are stay on and blikin..?? my email. kubano2011@yahoo.com

905speedgta says:

You might have a bad blend door motor. this is pretty common on the 2001 to 2004 caravans. But even though it is heard of on the 1996 to 2000 model years its not as common. Is possible your HVAC controls are broken. Bring the car to a quiet spot. with just the key in the on position and the engine not running move the hot/cold switches. listen for the blend door motor you will be able to hear it. if you dont, chances are its not getting power, signal or a bad motor. let me kno what you find

Raul Urbina says:

My 1996 Dodge Caravan is blowing just hot air, I have done all of these recommendations in this video and at this time just the first two bottoms on left side are blinking the very first blinks once every time the second blinks 1, 5 and 6 times
any help will be appreciated.

Alexscott100 says:

Will this work on 2001 models with digital climate control

MegaNewSensation says:

I tried the first calibration several times and always fails. Do you know what kind of problem have my HVAC?

905speedgta says:

Watch the video. it will show you what to do

Darijan Ducic says:

Pocketraisins says:

Well, he is a great mechanic. He is just old school, and when it comes to things like resetting computers by button presses, not so much. He has no internet at all. Besides, I am not complaining. If he WERE trained to do it, he would do it and charge me for it like all other mechs out there. I would rather look it up, do it myself and save a few bucks.

905speedgta says:

thats really unprofessional to say to a customer. when i dont know something i research it. i never EVER tell the customer It cant be done or, I dont know what Im doing. if i were you i wouldnt go back to him..that was so unprofessional

Pocketraisins says:

Taking care of this tonight! Just had AC charged and the lights are blinking. Mech told me he didn’t know how to get them off! SMH.

I think I may just show him how its done…..the power of Youtube!

905speedgta says:

i found it on a forum I belong to. its better to actually show someone how to do it then to read instruction. so, i made a video lol

sandresstudios says:

Thanks for the video, where or how did you discover the button sequence? Thanks again.

Khamloun Chanthapa says:

Cool!! I will try this. Thank you sir!!!

905speedgta says:

this sounds like a blower resister. open your hood and look on the passenger side firewall you will see this rectangular piece mounted into the firewall with wires comming from it. its a easy fix.. when you pull it out its going to look like it has a coil. let me know if you cant find it

Dee Ducas says:

Thank you for this info but what do I do when blower only works sometime and since it needs to be on to calibrate. What should I look for to fix it. No one seems to have a clue. Thank you for your assistance.

MrFooqair says:

Thank you so much. The lights on our ’98 have been on for 4 years and we couldn’t tell weather AC or Defrost was on or not. This worked like a charm!!

905speedgta says:

the trans is in limp mode. thats a common problem for that trans. You might have to just bring it to chrysler for this one

cory batzer says:

@juiced71 you need transmission fluid change or add more

Magdalena Callejas says:

thank you

905speedgta says:

Felix, what is the temperature where you live?. it has to be above 50 degrees for this to work correctly, in your prevois msg u mentioned it wasnt working for you. Im glad to hear everything worked out for you. subscribe to my channel i have some new videos comming out soon

christineneubecker says:

i did the calibration hvac for a 1998 chrysler town and country and it is still blinking can u help me out

Felix Dessel says:

Can’t thank you enough for doing this video. I had a evaporator & heater door actuator strip some gears because the system was out of sync.. I took the actuator apart and turned the stripped gears 180 because of the limited travel that they have and it worked. I then put the system thru the calibration and BINGO all is well.
Thank you!

905speedgta says:

your welcome. please subscribe for new videos

burt jennings says:

Thank you very much! I’ve tried it several times and I’m able to get to the wiper button flashing only but when I depress it the recirc & AC buttons start flashing again. It’s also 70 degrees today. What is a blend door issue?

905speedgta says:

make sure its not cold out when doing this..try it again. if it still does this it might be a blend door issue im told.. i dont know what for sure… you best bet is to do the test again.

burt jennings says:

I tried this but I still have the AC, Recir and top left wiper button still flashing. Any ideas what may be wrong? Btw great video

905speedgta says:

send it into the garage if you can..but good luck, hope everything works out

905speedgta says:

souldnt be anywhere near that.. dont pay that much

905speedgta says:

your welcome, good luck

cheyennedogsoldiers says:

Thanks this is great. I’ve just gotten a 98 Chrysler (UK) Grand Voyager with this very issue, although I’ll have to wait until later in the year when the weather is a little warmer.

NorthStarOlds says:

I am going to try this on mine but I believe my fins are broken and its going to be an 800 dollar repair

905speedgta says:

No problem

Kevin Town says:

I have to wait until it warms up to do my van (34 out now), but at least I know how it’s done now….Thanks for the helpful upload…Gotta love You-Tube!
