Got an 08 compass in the shop. I Told boss man needed new tbi, he didn't listen and went with a pcm reprogram. Guess today we're doing the tbi, i love it when I'm right ha ha thanks for the in-depth video.
Great vid thanks, my wife has a 2014 compass that had the same issue about a year ago, throttle wouldn’t work and engine light, abs, and traction control light came one. I disconnected the battery for about 30 mins and car went back to normal, until this past weekend i disconnected the battery again and the issue went a away. You think the throttle body needs to be replaced or is it just a glitch I live in northern NJ and both times it happened in the winter could it be from grime, Road salt, etc etc…. thanks

I have a 2012 dodge avenger that when the car is on idle at 1000rpms it drops to 500rpms for a split second and then goes back to 1000. This cycle keeps repeating while the vehicle is idleing. Should i replace the iac? Vehicle does not give me any codes.
I have a Chrysler 200 limited year is 2011. the electronic throttle control light and engine light comes on I had these are the codes I'm getting is P0121 and P0221 and P2135. were do you think I should start at?

Great video hopefully you will come out with a replace the starter video for the 2014 Chrysler 200. I had got a po402 code saying I may need a catalytic converter but it might need a new throttle body.

Is the engine set up the same way in a 1997 Dodge Stratus 2.4?
I have an airbox of to the right with something that says "multi-point" something if I remember correctly.
Will the location be the same?
I can't remember. I've had the car less than a year and have barely had any issues so far.

I gota say Chrysler parts like TPS dont go the distance once you pop the case its the bottom gear thats stripped the gears ar eplastic and the spring return is to strong , they probably use recycled plastic , i got a 12 year old renault its still got the original TPS unit !
And when it happens just what is the total inc cost ???????

Excellent! well done David! My Patriot has been giving me warnings for months and finally wouldn't go over 25mph on Friday all the way home. I can't believe they would use plastic gears. I guess it's another buck they saved during manufacturing.

I really dislike the new cable-less throttle bodys. Especially on sports cars . Throttles not as snappy as it used to be.
Good morning. The codes repeated themselves 3 times each On the paper Auto zone printed out for me.
These are the codes that came up for my 2011 jeep patriot:
U1407 Implausible engine torque request signal received
U1424 implausible engine torque signal received
U1425 implausible pedal position signal received
Any idea?
