I have a question. My brother's chrysler 300, the fuel pump works,it has spark and compression. But still won't start, could it be timing and how would I check it on this vehicle?

Martaz Kirkwood says:

Thank you for all your help, I successfully replace a starter with your video and help.

ANDREW PULLICINO says:

What a great help and a great job you did. You are very helpful. Great presentation.

CHUCKIE BANDZ says:

U didnt have to take the entire rack out i just took out the mounting bolts and pulled it down

Nike Bert says:

Thank you! A shop wanted $200 for a starter and $200 labor! Got it accomplished for ~$100 buying my own starter, and with the help from this video. This is in fact the best video on a 5.7 AWD starter replacement. I appreciate you taking the time to help people out.

Marc Smith says:

Great video! Hope all is well.
I hate doing these especially with the Hemi. Very little room. I have actually replaced them without dropping the rack, but that is another story and it requires patience. I should try and look as sharp when I go out and do my Mobile repairs. My wife might get concerned though. LOL

Matthew Lalonde says:

Awesome video, the starter in this car is in a tough spot to say the least. I appreciate the time you took to take off the tire so we could see what you were doing. nicely done!! thanks

Tison Raider says:

Just sent a few pics top that email

Tison Raider says:

My only guess would be to take couple pics and send them to you see if you got any advice for what I'm working with

Tison Raider says:

Well I got everything unhooked good to go to pull out thanks to your video but only struggle I'm facing is there is no room to pull the starter out not sure what to do now

George Simpson says:

Thanks for the upload, my son is having an issue where the car will turn off while driving no one has an idea why, we were thinking it's the starter. You would be driving and the car would shut off, no power. I wanted to see the starter location and how to remove. Your video is the BEST one out there. Thanks again for taking time to show everyone.

Tison Raider says:

Love this video gave me more help than anything else I could find. Some things weren't the same bc I have an 05 300 touring. Could really use some help though. Got the starter detached except for one of the cord on the back side and not sure what to do bc of lack of room to remove it. The 06 and 07 have more than enough

Angel T. says:

your a beast my brotha just the fact that u never get dirty lol what years would u have to drop the power steering rack

Tom E says:

You need some eye protection working on that rust bucket!

ManicMechanic007 says:

I think the new microphone does a better job of handling the wind noise.

On the V-6 ones I've replaced the rocker arm shaft towers before. A little piece breaks off and the rocker arm shaft turns where the oil hole doesn't line up.
