The gen9 malibu 1.5t needs a good amount of preventative maintenance to keep the owner stress free in the long term. 2018 192k miles. Zero check engine lights in 110k miles. Oil changes every 4-5k miles. Change the vacuum pump out after 90k… or earlier for peace of mind. Vvt, pcv system, camshaft position sensors, 3rd brake light, both rear knuckles, and all other normal wear items
2012 chevy malibu 2.4 liter LT. I've spent over $5,000 trying to figure out the no-start issue for my girlfriend. Replaced the MAF Sensor, Crank Shaft Sensor, Cam Shaft sensor, fuse block in the engine, fuel pump 3 times, fuel pump connector, alternator, starter twice, 3 batteries. We've had it at 2 different Chevrolet dealerships and they can't figure it out. Wanna throw out any ideas?!
I have a 2020 model and just replaced the vacuum pump that look just like that in pieces. After replacing it the car won’t stay crank. So I replace the crank sensor and now it won’t stop engaging the starter. Do anybody have similar problems and what you do to fix it?
Friend has a 2011 ranger rover, air conditioning not working, back up cam, radio. One day during storm radio, back up cam came on but once truck turned off, they didn't come back on. Please Help any advice

At Toyota they made the vacuum pump a recall repair since they were destroying itself internally. Weird GM doesn’t do the same.
I’ve done a lot of turbos on the new Malibus because they leak oil into the intake tube
What about Chrysler 300
Love your channel. Very great teacher and mechanic.
