Great video and very entertaining! I am currently in the middle of this
power steering fiasco with my 2006 HHR. Could I have caused the problem
from the jumping the car off from the front booster instead of the battery
in the back? Eventually it’s exhausting accessing that rear end battery.

I have a 2008 Chevy cobalt, and I’ve been having issues with my power
steering for a couple of months. Once I start my car and drive it for 5

control. I don’t know if it’s the motor or if my module is fried up…

Having problems with my power steering u advise not to drive it since it
will fry the module?

When you concluded it was the motor that was bad, did you test it to
confirm this? I have a Cobalt with power steering issues, pulled the motor
and tested it to a battery and it works fine. Just checking to make sure
I’ve ruled out that the motor is not the problem.

I find it odd that a motor would be an issue too since electric motors only
have 1 moving part. Please let me know how you confirmed it was the motor.

I guess thats the downside of the electric power steering. I’d have thought
these cars were new enough and still worth replacing that, but I honestly
don’t know when they came out.
