On Gen3 LS based trucks you will find two different sytle ECMs. One is blue-green connector and the other is Blue Red connector. Blue Green is compatible with 2003-2007 classic. Blue Red is compatible with 1999-2002 LS engines.

Hello. I purchased a 2006 GMC recently. It's a 4×4 with a 4.8L. When I changed oil, it was discovered the new oil filter I bought wouldn't screw on. I crossed referenced the old oil filter I removed, and learned the filter is to fit 2007 4.8L. With this said, I'm assuming the engine was swapped out with 2007 4.8L. How do I confirm this? Is there a serial number somewhere on the block?
The truck has oxygen sensor error codes that will not go away. I went thru most of the trouble shooting. Error codes re appear. It also has delayed shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I have to rev to about 3500rpm and let of the accelerator for it to shift. After doin extensive research, it was mentioned the cause of error codes P0131, P0171, P01133, P0300 could very well be from a bad ECM, or better still, the ECM was not switched out to match the 2007 engine, if in fact it is a swapped out engine. Please help! Thank you!
We need the plugs that.a break when you take them off. These plugs run everything and we have one going to an 05’ Duramax and can’t find one. Sprucing in the wires is the easy part but I want a plug that fits right and last for another 20 years. Let me know if you know who sells these. I would think someone would want to make huge money or those because they do break often

I have a 03 Silverado and I recently swapped a used pcm in and got it running it started very rough like expected but it would slowly start picking up rpms and I have no control over the throttle and I have a code P0122 throttle pedal position sensor circuit A low power what would be causing that?

A Diablo tuner wiped my computer clean, I sent it to Diablo and they re flashed it, I put it in and it started right up and I drove it for about 5 minutes. Everything works and it drives and runs just like a stock 05 GMC 5.3 should. Should I be concerned? I didn't watch this video until after I did this. Any help would be appreciated

I have an 04 gmc 2500 hd. My probelem is that while driving down the highway my torque converter unlocks. The dealer said that when it was happening on the road with the scan tool on it and everything checked ok, so they said the only thing it could be is the PCM, but they will not guarantee that this will fix it. This truck has 87,000mi. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!! Thanks in advance.

Would you happen to have an idea as to why this process will not work in my truck? I tried 2 different pcm's, both Pcm's were off the same year silverados as mine, battery charger hooked up every time, and I tried multiple times on each pcm. The relearn will not work.
