Iac reset ?
what junk yard? I needed that brake booster on that 05 chevy truck. all the junk yards around me in Central Florida don't never have engines
Yea. Cost $2 for entry lol
U mean MAS ?
What a g*y vid
An iacv is like $10 new. If youre gonna waste time cleaning a used one out, do the one thats already installed on ur truck lmao
( when the iac valve is dirty what are the symptom ?)
These junkyard owners offer a service and have overhead expenses. As much money as the average
person makes and still steals and pockets the small items. Have you no honor…like biting the hand
that feeds you. Pretty low down morals.
La parte usada original es mejor
He for sure pocketed that
That almost looks like my fuel pressure regulator on a duramax.
Modern equivalent of a choke. The IAC. Most 80s-90s fuel injection had this or something similar
Chevys get picked over because your constantly having to fix them. I work in auto business n always said if it wasn't for Chrysler n chevy I wouldn't have made much money
For the tbi truck's the jusck yard is the only place to get a good one the ones from the parts stores are broke already in the box
What did you use to clean it up?
I have to change those out after the new genuine GM part that I just put in a year or two ago goes bad. I can tell it's bad when the idle speed gets high while the engine is hot. Normally it should idle at 550 rpm rock steady but it will be at 650-700, behaving like a vacuum leak but there is no vacuum leak. Change out the IAC and it goes back to normal. I've done it 4 or 5 times now so I know the drill pretty well. They go bad internally and it makes no difference how they look cleaned up. If you can pocket them for free at the junkyard you have nothing to lose, but it's a throwaway part as far as I'm concerned.
I just paid $80 for a new one for my 93 ranger 2.3l. 506,000+ miles on the original one. And still rocking the original engine transmission and rear end! Maintenance and some preventative maintenance goes along way.
So why not just clean up the one you have, if you’re good with a used one?
He said chevys get picked over real fast that should tell you they break down a lot
Why are you jacking parts that you don't need?
HDTPM
Chevy's get picked over fast because they are always BREAKING DOWN.
That's what we are going to have to do to get good parts, can't use CHYNNA JUNK PART'S.
