I did this some time ago, actually right after I got my blazer, and before I drove it enough to be at all familiar with it. Do I need a tune after this? Isn't this making it a more multiport injection system, and should give more power and get better gas mileage, as far as being more efficient. I get horrible mileage! Lol kinda hoping that a tune after is recommended and I just never did it

Thanks for sharing. Good pointers. — For a 2000 GMC V6, 4.3 L, does anyone know the typical reliable life of the fuel pressure regulator; and the typical reliable life of the fuel injector / poppits ? Would it be wise to replace the fuel injector / poppits assembly after 200k miles?

I’m having issues with my 96 blazer giving me a “check gages” message then it just dies out. I can start it again right away and it will be good for a few miles then do it all over again. Could a bad spider injector cause that to happen?

Tim Whit says:

I heard you say that if you break the old clips that the whole thing is trashed. This is actually not true. You can buy the clips and orings from carparts dot com

nobodynew says:

How long did this take?

Robert Nun'ya says:

God Bless you for pointing out the fact that the taps had to go down on the fuel lines. Of the 6+ vids that I watched you are the only one showing this fact. I put them in wrong the firast time and drove to town, MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
