You have to remove the accessory drive belt, and then disconnect two electrical connectors, and remove three bolts, and the alternator will come out. my battery voltage dropped into almost the red and my battery light came on randomly. could this be the alternator or battery? i got my battery tested a couple months ago and it was fine.

Have a 95 Tahoe as well from time to time it shuts off (when I’m at a stop and press the gas ) it will turn off but it turns on right away I notice that the check gages light comes on when it shuts off . Any idea what can it be?
