Hey i got new shocka and they came with metal sleeves and my old ones had sleeves inbetween the abosers do i need them or not? Becuase i honestly dont know how its all going to fit together

Pretty cool. I have the 2000 Astro and my right front coil is creaking and squeaking very loud embarassing when going over bumps and worse when hot. All bushing are fine and everything is lubed but is there maybe a rubber gasket at top of coil that could be worn possibly and coil is metal to metal at top perhaps??.. I'm at wits end
