This is the first repair video that I have found to be helpful, nice job.
1988 is way different.
Sure this is a 88 my truck is a 88 and I have never seen a 88 like it the bash is all blue nothing like this like nothing. Maybe mine is special. Ha ha or I'm dumb but it is a 88
Its the one in my YouTube pic.
just wanted to say excellent video just replaced mine & this video really help allot! Along with having to change my water pump aswell GOT MY HEAT BACK!!!
Looks pretty easy. Will be doing this tomorrow and let you know. Thanx.
Started smelling AF in my 1998 Silverado ext-cab and had the suspicion that the 'original' heater core was defective. Replaced one in an older Camaro I owned and it was NO FUN! Your detailed explanation and demo on this model makes the job pretty straightforward.
Thanks!
No lie Man u just Save Me Money
much appreciated man.
Started to do my core replacement today only to find out the core that I got from Parts Source up here in Canada is not a direct replacement. So now I'm sitting back having a beer typing. So I guess a have to bypass the heater core so I can return this BS made in China crap and go purchase one at a GM dealer. FCOL the connection lines are too short and they don't even line up with the firewall exits. Not to mention their soidered on and don't swivel like the factory one do. Oh well time for a few shots of JD. Stay safe my American neighbors!
HEY DUDE!!!!!!!!!!YOU JUST SAVED ME $350.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU MAN!( IN A BRO WAY, NOT A GAY ONE)
I need one of those lil helper dudes that you got ! I'll never be able to do it without ! lol good video man !
