These clips are the exact same and won’t come off with pliers.

What's the part/thing called where you connect the clips?

Is there a video on removing the bumper?

Great video….. EXCEPT.. They are not 10 mm bolts. They are most likely M6. The head is 10 mm in this case but bolts are defined by their thread diameter and pitch.

Slightly different on the 07-13 GMC

At 1:21… could you tell me what that vertical piece attached to the radiator is? It looks like a narrow radiator. I just purchased an 09 Sierra used from a dealer and noticed that both pipes coming out the bottom have been cut off. I can't find a diagram anywhere showing what it is. Good video, I used this to access get the top skirt off to access headlight bolts. Thank you.

Brandon V says:

I have a question when I was swapping my grill from my 1500 grill to a 2500 grill my bottom clips broke how can I replace them ?

Juan Guzman says:

Thanks for the video! Swapped off a new grill using this video on my 2012 GMC Sierra. Very easy and it took me 15 minutes.

Derpurs Machinest says:

It also should be mentioned that in the 2013 Sierra…at least in mine; there are 6 white clips attached to the bottom of the grille. I didn't see it mentioned in this video. Good vid none the less. Took me less than 30 minutes to swap out my new grille 🙂
