Kyle Watson says:

Was way more concerned with the other side and the steering shaft

Drew Rogers says:

Torque specs for the bolts?

Anatoly Ice says:

Tell me, do broken bolts affect the oxygen intake? Can it be that the engine is unstable? If one bolt on each side is broken off?

The FishingReel says:

Yeah, what about that tube like the other guy said attached to the passenger side manifold, that's my problem, all bolts really rusty.

Roberto Roussel says:

Nice video, i have chevy avalanche 2004 with 5.3liter and don't have that donut. Is it normal?

Frankie McAllister says:

Yeah, don't show how to get the left side out! The tough one!!!!!

Nathan Kelly says:

Exhaust manifold bolt torque is a 2 pass. 132 inch pounds then 22 foot pounds

Keith Branton says:

do not… re-use a 2.99 donut gasket…

Rich Crane says:

There was no mention to how to easily remove the dipstick tube. in my experience, you best order a new one before you start this project.

KAnthonyStrick says:

Probably should do this while the engine is warm while being careful.

Lesley Chapman says:

I need a video on how to remove the exhaust manifold on a 98 Tahoe. it's similar to this, I know, but mine has an air pump which means an extra aluminum tube on the front of the manifold. plus, the second bolt on the front header is busted.

Dave V says:

Yes torque specs for header bolts? To skip key info while showing them being torqued is a bit silly.

Roger Chavez says:

I would like to see the driver's side done as there are several more obstacles, will the manifold come out without removing any of the steering components? thanks

matzpimp says:

I'm glad you guys was able to get the dipstick out. I had to just cut mine out of there cuz It wouldn't budge

Kal-L says:

would installing shorty headers be the same as this

click slide bang says:

stupid qustion but ar these on both side of engine,

Juice 454 SS says:

How much did u torque the bolts?

Sean Hunter says:

my avalance has a rough idle and check engine light which is throwing a random.misfire code…if done coil packs spark plugs spark plug wires the fuel pressur regulator all 4 oxygen sensors checked fuel pressure it was all In specs checked compression which were.all in specs checked fuel injectors which were all good…still same issue

Lynn McKenney says:

Quick question, would it be better to do this while the motor is slightly warm, or when it is cold?

Ryan Cashwell says:

I was wondering if I had a broken bolt head or if it was just a support stud thanks for clarifying now I can fix my exhaust leak

Ronald Reagan says:

Mike, as you mentioned in the video, these gm trucks have the driver's side rear manifold bolt break most of the time. Can you do a video showing how to remove this broken bolt when it is flush on the head? The problem is very common, and is a real pain because it is at the firewall on the driver's side.

Hollyfreehole ! says:

Hello Mike ! Is it possible you can make a video for the 01-06 Tahoe exhaust system removal ?
