@ Dereck Wesche You may want to check the window regulator to see if it’s
binding up on anything, you may also want to test the window switch to see
if it’s working correctly and sending power to the motor when it’s pressed
in the up position. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Hello, I was taking my door apart to get the window up, and I ran into a
problem. I went to remove the barrel shown at approximately 6:20, and I
accidentally broke it. I do not think that it is in a usable condition, but
I could not find another one online. Is there a place where I can find a
barrel to lock the window into the regulator, or is there something else I
can use?

Thanks for all your videos! Between the savings from your site and the
money I have been able to save by doing it myself, Im well over 2000
dollars!! I do have a question. In my 2005 Malibu Maxx i have been the RR
window rolls down but will not roll back up. i thought it might have been a
wiring thing. After that checked out fine i bought a new motor. When i
plugged the new motor in there was no change. The new motor cranks down but
not up. i have looked at being able to get the window unlached from the
current regulator but it seems to be too far down. Do you have any ideas 1)
What it could be and 2) how to get to the barrel. once again your videos
save my life!! thanks for any help!

Thanks

Once again, Thank YOU! I bought the part, stupidly, from Advance Auto:
$163.00. I would have saved about $70.00 if I had a brain. I did the
install in about 2 or 3 hours, trial and error with a breakfast break. The
quote I got from my local auto shop: Part: $254.99 (Dickriculous!!!),
Labor: $100.00. Total: $354.99. I got the quote AFTER I completed the
install, just to see how much money I needed to transfer from checking to
savings!!! HA! Love your videos and I will purchase all parts from your
website going forward. WHY? Because they are comparable to other online
competitors and …… you supply the how to VIDEOS!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!

Hello I have a 06 Malibu an the right front passenger window won’t go down
or up when u press the button from that switch. But it works fine from the
drivers controls. Does anyone have that problem too? Or do I have to
replace the part? Please need answers!!

Thanks for making this video. Made it easy to find out why my window just
decided to slide open by itself. Turns out the cable snapped out of place.
Thank goodness my new part will be in tomorrow morning.
