Mike – BRAVO! Well done – thanks so much. I just ran over some road debris late at night and whatever it was just thwacked the right fog light back into the area covered by the plastic housing secured by those pop pins. Good thing, or it would have all been ground up by the road. I think I’ll be ordering one anyway, since it does seem compromised. Thanks again – very helpful.

You can mark the adjusters as we show in the video, or before you change them you can pull the car up to a garage door or a wall and from 25′ away see where the fog light beams land, and use that as a reference when adjusting your new lights. Hope this helps you out.

When you adjust the fog lights what is a good guide to use?

If your vehicle wasn’t equipped from the factory with this option, you may need some additional wiring. If you want a factory install, you could ask the parts department at your local dealership what additional things you may or may not need to complete the install. You could also look for an automotive forum for your vehicle, some of the members may have enabled this feature.

I did this, although I had to take out a few more of the plasti-clips and screws to get better access. Thanks again

I just want to say thank you.

Anything is possible 🙂 Mounting the lights is not a problem as I believe the cars just have filler panels where the lights would be. The problem might be the wiring. The cars may be wired already but if not you will need to wire a switch in the car. GM may sell a kit to do all this and make everything look factory.
