I have a 04 and I need to know how to replace the wire harness that plugs
in the tail light. I read youd have to do some soldering to complete the
job…?? Is this true or can I just cut wires and reconnect new harness
with wire connectors?
Thanks
hey bud thanks for the post. I own a 2009 chevy trail blazer and when I
remove the tail light housing the 3 screws holding the lights down are like
a star style female screw. Any ideas how to remove those. oh and they are
very small.
The star bit is called a torx head. You can normally find them at any local
hardware store.
You would need to cut off the old plug end and put a new pig tail end on
it. We carry new ends and circuit boards on our website 1aauto.com
888-844-3393 They are in the taillights section for your vehicle. Hope this
helps you out.
The connector that plugs into the tail light circuit board on my 2006
Trailblazer has rusted and 3 of the 5 prongs from the connector have rusted
and broken off in the connector. Where can I get the connector and how do I
change that?
Appreciate the help good sir.
