Awesome. Very Helpful. Had no idea you use a 3/8 drive.Thank you
Thanks for stopping by and checking us out!
Thanks for this video. I never would have known about the square hole in
the idler pulley without it. I definitely needed a cheater bar on my
ratchet to take the pressure off the pulley. The whole job took less than 5
minutes.
@alec1381 You’re welcome.Glad we could help!
@TFTB1 If you were able to wipe it up with a rag and the belt didn’t slip,
you should be okay.
Just changed my serpentine belt. I had no idea there was a spot designed
for a 3/8″ ratchet. Good thing i took the time to watch this video. I was
getting ready to wrench on the nut that holds the tensioner on. It would
have taken me much longer to figure out how to reduce the tension on the
belt otherwise. Thanks. The entire thing took me 5 min in the end.
Thanks a lot. I had no idea how to do it. It took me 20 minutes, but it is
working just fine. You folks are great!
pilled a little oil on the crank. Not a mjor spil but definitely a few
drops. how concerned should i be? i was able to get a rag but it seemd to
go right in between the crank and the belt? what should I do? its an 03 V6
trailblazer.
I was sitting here racking my brain. I had been trying to push down on the
tensioner with a screwdriver in one hand and slip the belt back on the
power steering with the other. I did a quick search and found your video. I
had no idea there was a spot for a wrench. Sooo easy. Thanks for posting
your video it helped me tremendously!!
Fantastic help! Thank you!
Thanks for the video! Got it done in about 15 minutes. Didn’t even need a
breaker bar or pipe, either.
