@mobilehotrodrepair: Did you ever come around to making the part 4?

Da Coder says:

Never a P. 4?

MrTNBassmaster says:

I forgot the important part !!lol 85 Camaro that’s what I am working on .

MrTNBassmaster says:

I have watched all your vids very nice 🙂 your a jewel of knowledge , I
have the new kit . But I am wondering about the front lights it has one
light for low beam and one light right beside it for hi beam . ect. Do I
just go by the old wiring when doing this I want to do it right. thanks for
any information you have . and please keep up the good work :)

douglas harris says:

Do you bypass the voltage regulator ?? With one if those kits

ALVIE78744 says:

Where’s Part 4 it was getting good..I wanted to see how you tested
everything…Lights, Gauges, Engine..etc…

Fullthrottle440 says:

thanks for all the videos. they are very helpful in the restoration of my
’72 c20

Gary Steele says:

I do plan on recording the work I do while rewiring the truck and posting
it on here using your techniques. I’ll give credit for info to you. Another
thing I plan on doing is installing relays for the healights so that they
are getting the full 14.6v making them much more effective. Also may do a
possible (cheap) anti-theft device that may interest some viewers. Again,
thanks for the videos and the TuT’s. They are very handy and well informed.
Thanks 🙂

Shea Gilmore says:

now i know how to rewire my truck thanks

mobilehotrodrepair says:

no you dont. not yet anyway ive still got one more video coming finishing
off the dash hooking up the gauge cluster without frying anything thanks
dave

mobilehotrodrepair says:

take it out but keep it for conectors and reference you might need later d

Caleb Graham - Zoney Regal says:

idk how much help I can be now, 7 months later, lol but I’m rewiring my 72
c10 and for reference I just took a lot of pictures when I was removing all
the original stuff, took pics of connectors plugged in, took pics of stuff
removed, etc.. helps to have shots of how everything was cuz you can’t
remember all those little things very easily

mobilehotrodrepair says:

@killertctma figgered you were but wanted to put the info up for others
that might be wondering the same thing

mobilehotrodrepair says:

@Skeksisnv i like the idea on the head lights. closer to the power source,
dont have to run through the harness. whats the trick on the start though i
dont want to wait. relay hooked to the park lights that works coil or
solenoid? dave

Tabor Talley says:

@mobilehotrodrepair hahaha i was just kidding im going to try and tackle it
myself. I find it easy to do everything else on a vehicle but when i look
at wires i get intimidated.

GMJames says:

Great job again! Keep up the great work!

yellowrustybird wheels says:

I could use some help I bought a ez wiring knock off I think but my problem
is my lights have no power nor does my power windows and I noticed that you
have a power wire from the battery but my instructions don’t mention where
the wire hooks up from the battery could you tell me where its safe to tie
in the main power wire to I am really confused and been stuck for a year
now with a car that starts and runs but no head/tail/blinker lights or horn
half of fusebox works thanks 4 your time

im currently have an issue with my brake lights not working. what i do have
is blinkers, running lights, and parking lights. i’ve changed the brake
switch, all the bulbs, and all the fuses. i have a lose wire that runs
threw the bottom of my trunk and hangs under the car right in the back of
the rear end where my send unit wiring is but its hooked to nothing. also i
changed the flasher and it only made my turn signals stop working. im lost
right now very lost, i can;t figure it out.

james woodcock says:

was 16 i rebuilt my factory harness on my 67 4×4 1/2 ton

SouthpawGarage says:

I purchased a similar kit for my 1966 C-10. Is there any benefit to leaving
the old wires in place for reference purposes, or is it better to just take
everything out at once and start with a clean slate?
