How to Fix Broken Side View Mirror Glass & Cover. This is for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck. To remove the glass side view mirror, it’s as easy as prying it out using a trim panel tool.

Note: some vehicles require glue to reinstall new side glass mirror. But for this truck model, no glue is required.

I drove around for 7 days reinstalling the broken glass side view mirror before receiving the new one. Not at one time did the broken glass side mirror ever fall out.
