THE CAMARO AS WELL AS THE DODGE CHALLENGER NEED A COMPLETE FACELIFT. PARTICULARLY THE CHALLENGER. BIG, BLOATED, STALE.

My two most favorite car guys on YouTube: Kevin Hunter (sales) and Scotty Kilmer (service). You two gents are real treasure troves in terms of your knowledge of the automotive business and you’re going to be indispensable in my own car search. My hat’s off to you, Sirs!

I'll be dammed to pay more for paint. Scotty you remind me of Hennery Ford. All of the cars had black, no exceptions. after years of complaints he had red, blue, green… But very very dark! LOL My uncle had some samples of that paint. yep very dark. LOL

Jeff Kachi says:

I have said for a while. American cars have nice paint jobs but mechanically they are not built well. Now if they car only use a Japanese power train.

Kenneth Grutter says:

Sad, that an American icon has succumbed to corporate greed. GM has no interest whatsoever in making quality vehicles. Last one I bought in 2000 was the worst car I ever owned. In the shop 3 days after I took it home, paint was full of rail dust. Shortly thereafter coolant started disappearing. (Known problem for that engine, intake manifold gasket wasn't seated correctly, causing coolant to go into combustion chambers.) Dealer had the car for 3 days, and supposedly fixed it. Started again, exactly one hundred miles out of warranty, and two months later. Dealer wouldn't touch it. Said I "didn't bring the car to the dealer enough!" I got all my service done there. At 57k, the transmission failed. Again, GM could care less. Traded that piece of crap for a Toyota Highlander, and never looked back. I told the guy at the dealer, "Working people are the backbone of your company, and you don't care about your customers at all. I will tell everyone I come in contact about what happened to me here. Wouldn't surprise me if Chevy goes bankrupt soon." It wasn't long after that, that their corporate executives were taking their private jets to Washington, to lobby the government to bail them out. Criminal. Rip your customers off, and then ask their government to bail you out, after you lose your customer base, for selling crap, and treating your customers like crap. Scotty had it right, American car companies are not focused on quality, they are only focused on quarterly profits. The Asian car companies, of course are in business to make money, but are much more concerned about the quality of their product. Case in point: My wife bought a USED Toyota Rav 4 from a local dealership. The transmission started to fail a 62K. I called the dealer, and they confirmed there was a TSB on this year, and model. They not only fixed the transmission for free, but also gave my wife a nice vehicle to drive, for free, while the car was being fixed. THAT'S why Toyota, and the Asians are so much better. They take care of their customers. Without the customer, there is no company.

Dave Goldspink says:

Great job Scotty but no thanks on the Camaro we get them here in Australia after HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) converts them to right hand drive. Give me a Toyota Supra any day. Been a Toyota fan since my 1980 RA40. Have been down the Holden and Ford road before and now Holden is no more and Ford no longer build cars here I’ll stick to well built Japanese cars instead.

Gary Morehouse says:

Hey scotty! I have a 2004 toyota 4runner v8 that I just bought and am trying to do all the maintenance myself. The transmission works great but I dont know when the fluid gas been changed and it has 200,000 miles on it. It has the automatic 4 speed with overdrive. Can you do a video on changing it? Or let me know how to do it so I dont screw it up?

Steven Slouber says:

It's because they cant make a truck that'll outsell RAM or Ford.

Edward Barnes says:

The new 6th gen camaros are so small like corvettes,, buts thats what the morons asked for, they said the 5th gen was too heavy… how dumb,, what made the camaro good was it was sporty but still practical and roomy.. the v6’s and v8’s are great motors though and they are good reliable cars..

SpaceBuckaroo says:

The only GM vehicle I would consider is the new Corvette.

Chuck Mack says:

Not Chevy trucks sorry. They are the best. Cars are for women

William Craig says:

If it don't go, chrome it.
