The only bad think that i notice… is that it's not cycling perhaps a bit too much on the freon… excellent tutorial…
Excellent Technician! this man practiced good care and cleanliness, cleaning off connections and LUBRICATING O-ring fittings prior to assembly – Well Done! Highly instructive and useful. Bravo!
That oil moves really slow
2001 Tahoe, when I pulled the plug on the new compressor to swap my high pressure switch a blast of air under pressure came out….this is a new compressor I noticed yours didn't….why was there pressure? And or did I screw up? Being a new ac compressor I didn't thing it would have any pressure. Also it said it shipped with 3 oz of oil….I have not pulled the profile plate yet. But should I check it befor adding my oil…it requires 11oz…..thx
yeah part houses tell you it calls for for pag 150 is to heavy an will foam up an cause a high head pressure situation I use pag 46 on all gms an have never had a noise is sure or failure an never use reman compressors always delphi, sanden, or denso only use mineral oil to lube orings all pag oil will pull in moister an will corrode all fittings with pag oil on the orings
Get some engine degreaser and wash that engine bay!

Just saw the other blockoff video. Thanks again!
Man they want to charge me $1000 for everything. I found the same part for $180 and I can coerce the Firestone guy to do the discharge and recharge for free…so worth watching this video to do it myself.
wow! that was very informative info, now I know how to install my own compressor. Thanks a lot.
