After more than 15 years of not having it, i’m going to fix my truck’s AC! First up is to see if the compressor will turn and if there are any leaks.

on ac compressor I bought a new one same year as yours truck but it only has one front plug not back plug. that what I don't get

Nice Job, I have a 1994 Suburban Silverado that I'm having A/C issues with right now..my friend changed the compressor but didn`t last long not cold weak.now they said the rear lines are hot to the rear a/c some one said change the expansion valve and dryer.

Easy way to engage compressor, unplug low pressure cut-out switch on dryer look inside connector. You'll see 2 contacts inside, get paper clip and insert in such a way as to connect the 2 contacts together, voila your compressor will engage.
