I’ll stick to the “cord” method. Put the gasket on the glass first, then
lay the glass and gasket on the pinch weld.. Pull the cord to lift the
gasket over the pinch weld.. been doing that way for years. It works great
for me and there’s no chance of chipping the glass with tools.

got mine installed perfectly
I had my windshield replaced but water leaks to the inside of the cab. I
got the four gaps shown on 8:58 on this video. I know mine wasnt installed
right. What do i need to do to fix this problem? Do i need a new gasket and
locking chrome strip?
