RW Krauss says:

Hello Brothers, thank you for the info. and getting back to me. The hinges being in a bind could very well be my problem. I'll give it a try. Again, Many thanks for this info. R.W.

RW Krauss says:

Great video with several important tech. on bolt removal. I have good hinges but still not enough adjustment to get the back of my hood down and in alignment with my cowl? If my slots were longer i could lower the hood back down enough but slots are not long enough??

TurboFlush says:

Hinge replacement and adjust on 72+ ??

The Daily Variety says:

For the love of God, I just need to replace the heater blower on a 71 suburban in order to remove the old one. Unfortunately I must remove the passenger hood hinge. So I’m thinking I will support the hood with some straps. Remove the spring therefore the hinge should easily collapse upwards enough to remove the blower motor.

Jason McElroy says:

I've always liked the "Youtube Certified Mechanic" joke. Nice touch with the patch! ;-0-

Brian Crossland says:

I would've liked to see how you adjusted the hinges…

Joe M says:

But where he get the springs?

Robert Richter says:

Anytime I'm messing with hood alignments, I always remove the grill…..just in case it closes off a tad and doesn't want to open.

Young Buck Restoration says:

Would there be any particular reason to replace the springs? I was thinking about keeping my original hood springs and just sandblasting and repainting them rather than buy brand new ones if I don't have to.

Jose Marceleno says:

I does it also apply to 79 El Camino thanks

Richard Stone says:

Thanks for reminding me to buy the side bump stops. Great video. Premium content

L. M says:

Thanks! But oohhh Brother if that spring would’ve pinched ya. Ouch! Glad it didn’t

Dylan Morse says:

Do you have hinges for 67-72 c50s?

Jack Greenberg says:
