Dave I wish I new 1/2 of what you have forgotten on these old trucks ! A salute to you sir ! Thanks for the videos !!!
Great video. I could have used this last week. Now my windshield is a do over
Very good information.. nicely done.
Don't forget to take off your rings, when slapping
Thanks for another awesome video! I installed my windshield with the help of chief mechanic, my wife. A couple of days later I noticed it needs to be shifted down a bit in the drivers side lower corner. Please advise the best approach to address this issue. No need to candy coat it, LOL. Thank you again for your time saving, informative videos. I have used many of them on my 66 C10 rebuild!
7:55 That's a great tip! Pun unintentional.
Very cool thanks for the video. About to change out my windshield in my 1961 Econoline this helped immensely and much appreciated!
Dude is awsome
Thanks for the great video! Very informative.
I have a 56 gmc and have broken two windshields trying to install new seal but with this video I see what I was doing wrong
Awesome video…getting prepared to install all new glass on my 59 Chevy Apache, Thanks for these great videos !
Great video, will it leak?
Hi
Great videos. You explain very well.you are a good teacher. I am getting re as dy to install my windshield on my O'l Beater 54 Chevy. I am trembling. On the 54, do I instant the rubber to split and pass each end at the bottom, or the top?
Hey David do y'all have radio patch for 67 to 72 c10
Thanks for your tutorial. It's surprisingly difficult to find a professional installer that is willing to do a windshield with a rope in gasket. Where I live anyway.
I have had 2 professional glass installers trying to install the windshield on my 1959 Chev Apache pickup. I now have it all in except for the 2 bottom corners which stick out 1" each and the glass people have told me the glass is too wide. It is 58" wide, the same width as the one in a local car parts store. How do I finish it?
You and your buddies are awesome- well constructed, tutorial episodes. Thank you!!
Thanks for the great video!! I'll be installing the rear glass on my brother's 1954 Dodge Coronet soon.
That was fantastic. I have a important question. often windshields will have a chrome insert in the glass rubber seal. Do you install it first before the roping in? Or do you install the chrome after wards and is there any special techniques?
Do you use 3m adhesive? Didn’t see it on the video?
You are the man! Thankyou so much. I've worked in the industry for years and hadn't done a rope in gasket style windshield. Your video was very informative!
Great video, love the attention to detail. You wouldn't happen to have a video on replacing the panel between the roof and the windshield would you?
Gives full directions and the confidence to get this intimidating job done! So much better to get this job done yourself! There aren’t many glass guys left, that will do the old school weather strip glass install!
I've watched several of your vids and plan on watching probably all of them. I'm going to be ordering some of your body panels along with other products for my 69 chevy C10 conversion to a 4×4 with an LS & 4L80 swap. Over all you do a great job.. I was curious on this windshield install why you didn't have at least the edge painted before the re-instillation of the windshield? And being that LS swaps have become so popular, have you thought of offering LS swap kits? Thanks for the vids. Keep them coming..
Thanks for making this look so easy…..
Great video. Thank you for all the tips and specific installation methods.
Let it sit on the sun… love it! Awesome video. Thanks!
Whoever (9) that do not think its a great video, I would love to see your instructions.
Wow! Super in depth. Some people explain what they are doing while they do it. He teaches you how to do this! I tried this before watching and resolved to pay someone to do it. I believe I am going to give this another try myself.
most common sense instructions I have seen on any youtube video! Thanks. I am now a subscriber!
