Jeffrey Levin says:

Dave, if I was you, I would use the Boom Mat on the fire wall and floors. Follow up with carpet or mat, which you can buy or make yourself out of an area rug. The thicker material, I would use over your head on the roof.

Marvin Norton says:

Hey Dave, While you have the seats out why don't you weld the nuts or bolts to the underside of the floor, so that you don't have to go under the car to take the seat out the next time. It would be a time and safety convenient thing to do, and just plain make it easier on yourself for the future. And It will only take a few minutes to do. I've done that on all my builds and it makes life a hole lot easier on yourseft. Later

Andy's Dog House says:

Hey Dave. I am installing sound deading in my truck. I was going to make a roller as well out of a small paint roller handle and a pipe about 3 inches long. But then I decided you buy one on Amazon. It was a good price. I was thinking about laying carpet underlay over top of the sound reading stuff so it will be quieter. Thanks for sharing.

Tim Atwell says:

I would use the thicker stuff on floor and firewall if you have enough and use the thinner on doors and roof I would use regular padding on the wall you have between the cab and trunk that way you cover it with whatever material your doing the rest of door panel's with I did my 40 dodge coupe that way cut noise down big-time but keep the video's coming stay safe stay healthy stay busy
