My ride improved dramatically after I changed my shocks to KYB Monomax. I simply took the old shocks off which were twin tubes then I upgraded to a monotube and man did that changed my ride on my 2000 Escalade, the shock I used was KYB Monomax a monotube shock absorber.
This is the same process to change the front shocks for the following models: Chevy suburban, Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon XL, GMC Yukon
If you do any type of towing or you haul heavy loads you might want to upgrade to a monotube shock absorber. My SUV seems to glide down the street now. I was using a twin tube shock Excel G, based on how the monotube has made my SUV handle there’s a good chance I would never go back to twin tube.

Great job on the instructional vid sir!! Loved it when the dogs wanted to get in on the action! Perfect! Thanks again! Even though I've replaced shocks many times myself, I still learned something new! Very informative and well done!
