Any GM (or any automatic transmission for that matter [CVTs as well]); change that fluid, and its filter (if it had one) at 50,000 miles. Fuel filters should be replaced before the 50K mark, and keep the fuel level above 1/4 tank. The fuel surrounding the fuel pump helps carry the heat that the pump creates.
